Set in a sleepy, rainy town in Southern Italy. CESAR, a Filipino immigrant (53) lives with his local Italian wife, AGNES (55).

When they meet a mysterious young Filipino man named ANTHONY who places a curse on them, Agnes’ life turns into a nightmare of physical decay, marked by mold-infested necrotic skin patches and terrifying body transformations.

Cesar must race against time to find Anthony, whom he believes has cursed them, before it completely consumes them.

‘MOLDER’ is the third feature film of Filipino auteur Kenneth Dagatan who has been one of the breakout genre filmmakers of 2023 with his horror film, “In My Mother’s Skin” (Sundance Midnight). It was bought by Amazon Studios as an Originals and went on a critically-acclaimed festival run. The film was ranked #6 on Variety’s Top Horror Films of 2023.

"Molder" will reunite the producing team of "In My Mother’s Skin". With Volos Films Italia’s Stefano Centini and Dropkick Singapore’s Huang Junxiang.
