Synopsis

In a maze-like shantytown in the Philippines, a gang war brews and an omnipresent mayor threatens to spill blood on the streets in the name of peace and order. Richard, a teenage gangster and in the mayor’s sights, attempts to make it out of the chaos alive. Pepe Diokno’s debut film won the Lion of the Future Award and the Orizzonti Prize at the 2009 Venice Film Festival.
